Civil Engineering
Duties include:
- Design of site/civil construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, surveys and models.
- Prepare engineering designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests of soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and related topographical and geologic data.
- Prepare engineering documents by developing construction plans, specifications and schedules including layout, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans.
Skills/Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering, experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (a plus), design skills, site development skills, planning skills, drainage calculation skills, conceptual skills and problem-solving skills.

Structural Engineering
Duties include:
- Analyze data and perform structural calculations by applying advanced theories of structural engineering to design various types of building structures.
- Prepare and check complete structural drawings.
- Review construction drawings and ensure compliance with building codes and technical specifications.
- Evaluate the structural capacity of existing buildings and make evaluation reports according to generally accepted engineering theories and principles.
- Consult with contractors, architects and other engineering disciplines during the construction administration phase.
Skills/Qualifications
MS in Structural Engineering or a BS in Civil Engineering with appropriate structural emphasis. Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit (a plus).
