North End Zone Expansion

The expansion and renovation includes the addition of an upper deck in the north end zone, club level, 35 skyboxes, new locker room and two framed floors for administrative purposes. This addition will add approximately 9,000 seats.
LBYD conducted a review of the existing football stadium. The review resulted in a list of immediate needs. Additionally, a long-range repair plan and a program of preventative maintenance were developed.

Auburn University Jordan-Hare Stadium Expansion
Location: Auburn, Alabama
Completed: 2006
Cost: $22 million
The first phase of this project consists of the expansion and renovation of the club levels, luxury suite levels and upper deck on the east side of the stadium. This phase of the project will add approximately 2,000 luxury and general admission seats. Additional phases by others include a complete concourse level expansion and renovation. LBYD is currently working on the addition of a new plaza and entrance on the west side of the stadium.
LBYD was the structural engineer of record for the addition and renovation to the home team locker rooms, a new Tiger Walk Plaza and recruiting lounge at the south end of Jordan-Hare Stadium as well as the new visitor locker rooms constructed at the north end of the stadium. The Student Athlete Development Center, Weight Training and Conditioning Facility and Women’s Athletic Facility are also among the list of athletic facility projects that LBYD has been involved with at Auburn University .
LBYD has conducted annual structural reviews of Jordan-Hare Stadium since 1999. Each review results in a report outlining maintenance recommendations of items needing attention in the coming year. A program of prevention measures has been established and implemented.
