Mountaintop Community Church
Location: Vestavia Hills, Alabama Mountaintop Community Church is an 80,000 square foot church located in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. It includes a sanctuary with sloped seating and education floors framed with a composite concrete slab and steel beam system supported by steel columns. The roof over the sanctuary area consists of two steel trusses spanning 120 feet. The main trusses are spaced 60 feet apart. Steel roof joists are supported by the steel trusses. Catwalk framing and speakers are hung below the steel roof joists and steel trusses. There is a concrete basement wall along almost the entire length of the church. The first floor is partially framed and partially on grade. The foundations consist of conventional spread footing foundations. |
