Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana The Mall of Louisiana is a 585,000 square foot, 2-story mall, including a 7-story center court skylight. It was the largest new mall to open in the Southeast in 1997. The building is supported on shallow foundations and consists of structural steel framing with steel joists and beams and utilizes lateral bracing to resist wind and seismic loads. The facility has five restaurants and 155 stores that include five 2-story anchor stores and is designed for a future expansion to add a sixth department store. |
